PPR Asia was engaged to devise and execute a programme to raise public awareness of the first Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market to open in Greater China.
Located in the Hong Kong’s revamped Peak Tower, this restaurant, inspired by famous Forrest Gump movie, opened in September 2006.
PPR’s effective campaign strategy clearly communicated the brand’s key message: “Food is Hero”. The media coverage of the launch event and subsequent restaurant reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and demonstrated a good balance between cuisine and movie theme.
In keeping with local custom and expectations, PPR organised a Bai Sun Ceremony and provided professional advice on auspicious timing, Feng Shui, the Chinese company name and menu translation.
